UAT 1 - Architect

The Architect is responsible for designing and developing architectural plans, drawings, and specifications to meet the needs of clients. The Architect will be expected to collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, interior designers and contractors in order to ensure that all aspects of a project are completed according to plan. The Architect must also stay abreast of changes in building codes and regulations in order to ensure compliance with local laws.

• Develops detailed designs from initial concept sketches through construction documents;

• Prepares presentation materials including renderings, diagrams and models;

• Analyses client requirements and develop conceptual solutions that meet their needs;

• Researches building codes and regulations related to projects;

• Coordinates with other professionals such as engineers, surveyors or contractors on design elements;

• Monitors progress throughout the entire design process from conception through completion;

• Ensures projects are completed within budget constraints while meeting quality standards;

• Makes recommendations for improvements based on industry trends or customer feedback.
