What you’ll do:
As an Analytics Manager in the Advanced Analytics team in Consumer Strategy, you’ll be responsible for driving best in class insights through analytics, helping shape decisions using the power of data and insights:
- Work closely with the VIP team to answer business questions by creating actionable insights and identifying commercial opportunities to improve the way we make decisions.
- Be passionate about ownership of analytical insights delivered, including ensuring the data is accurate and the analytics approach is robust and delivered at pace.
- Formulate & implement analytical solutions to business challenges and transform to clear, concise findings with a clear narrative and recommendations suitable for a senior audience.
- Write code which exploits behavioural, research, external reports data, employing a wide range of advanced analytical techniques to extract strategic insights.
- Visualise insight findings with a clear narrative and business recommendations in PowerPoint presentations and communicate them with key stakeholders.
- When appropriate, work closely with Strategic Insight & Research to understand business challenges and ensure insights are relevant and actionable.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and ability to deliver insights that can influence the direction of the business.
- Proven track record of being able to communicate and influence stakeholders at Head of Department level.
- Excellent commercial skills and ability to connect analytical insights with business opportunity.
- High levels of logical thinking & problem-solving skills. Able to deal with complex problems using innovative and industry leading techniques.
- Energetic self-starter with experience in building excellent relationships and keen to self-develop.
- Proficient knowledge of SQL.
- Experience in using R, Python or other programming languages used for analytics would be advantageous but not crucial.
